Rork Projects have commenced work at Melbourne’s iconic 1 Nicholson Street Building together with Charterhall, Knight Frank, Bates Smart and Engineers Wood and Grieve.
Owned by Charterhall, the Nicholson Street Building was designed by architectural firm Bates Smart and when constructed back in 1958 was once the country’s tallest building
It is renowned as Melbourne’s (and Australia’s) first glazed curtain wall skyscraper.
The building comprises ground floor retail café, basement parking and 18 levels of offices with views over Parliament Gardens and State Parliament House.
