Caring for Country
Relationships with the land remain fundamental to the identity and way of life of many Indigenous people. As an Indigenous business, we continue to do what we can to preserve our environment now and into the future.
We believe that what is taken must be replenished and where possible, mitigate this exchange.

For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, Land or 'Country' is inherent to their identity. It sustains their lives in every aspect - spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and culturally.
It is more than a place.
For First Nations people, Country is family, kin, law, lore.
One of the aims of Rork Projects is to enrich our employees and our clients with this First Nations philosophy, knowledge of, and understanding of Country.
As an Indigenous business we're proudly working towards making it part of our core business practice, doing what we can to preserve our environment now and into the future.
It is vitally important that reducing our impact on the environment remains a priority.
At Rork Projects, we do this in three ways.

Leading by example
Before we can influence others, we need to educate and empower our teams. At Rork Projects, we are:
- Establishing comprehensive internal policies and procedures
- Finding the right partners
- Aligning with industry leading peak bodies
- Training our staff
- Adjusting our tendering approach
- Measuring our carbon footprint and working to 100% offset.

Supporting our clients and contractors
Through our projects, we provide innovative and flexible solutions for our clients to help them to achieve their environmental sustainability goals. We provided consistent and tailored reporting throughout the duration of project delivery. Project examples include:
- Darling Park Tower Two, Sydney
- 28 King Street, Brisbane (Caboolture)
- Hymba Yumba Independent School, Brisbane
- Westpac, Canberra
- Altona Civic Centre, Melbourne

Making lasting change
We are exploring new opportunities to make a lifelong impact for our communities and leave a positive legacy for Rork Projects.
Working with industry-leading organisations and partners, we are looking for innovative ways to reduce our impact on the environment and advocate positive change; as well as opportunities for other organisations to increase their social and environmental innovation.
Work with us
Through our Indigenous ownership and connection, we realise that we are in a remarkable position.
Unlike most other construction companies, we can provide a connection between clients and communities to be able to address both environmental and social challenges that are faced in our society.
We would love to work with you to deliver a project that meets your environmental and sustainability goals.
