It was an absolute pleasure to attend to Supply Nations 2022 Connect Conference – Reconnecting, at the International Convention Centre in Sydney recently.
This one-day event focuses on networking opportunities and showcasing the calibre of diverse Indigenous businesses, bringing together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, corporate organisations, and government departments to foster new business opportunities and celebrate the success of the sector.
Co-Owners Brian O’Rourke and John Janke were joined by our Business Development Team, and some of our dedicated Sydney Staff, to show off everything Rork Projects at our trade show stall on Wednesday, May 25th.
Over 1,860 Indigenous businesses, corporate and government members and
international delegates attended the Tradeshow this year – the biggest Indigenous Business Tradeshow yet!
Having the opportunity to meet so many great people across the Indigenous business space was not only exciting for the team, but something that has been sorely missed over the last two years.
After the Trade Show, the team were joined by Penelope Arnold, Craig Morgan, and Tim Pearce for the Gala Awards Dinner. This was where Supply Nation announced the winners of the Supplier Diversity Award. The Gala dinner was hosted by Stan Grant with almost 1,400 guests in attendance.
