Project Manager – CANBERRA

Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management, distribute, amend and implement project specific PMP
  • Ensure building methodology on site is the safest possible
  • Manage time to ensure each project being managed is delivered in accordance with the programme
  • Evaluate and respond to all sub-contractor EOT claims
  • Compile all head contract EOT claims
  • Manage all project financials including trade, consultant and supplier contract awards
  • Responsibility and management of all expenditure for project preliminaries
  • Demonstrate overall project leadership and control
  • Develop favourable client, consultant and contractor relationships acting at all times with respect and dignity

Skills & experience required:

  • Degree / Diploma in Project Management / Construction Management
  • Significant experience in construction project management role
  • A track record in delivery of refurbishment / fitout projects
  • Ability to lead a project team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project planning and financial control
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe work places
