Energex House

The Rork Queensland team are proud to announce that they have been selected to deliver a full cosmetic refurbishment of the end of trip facilities at 33 Breakfast Creek Road, in Newstead. This includes the construction of new bike storage facilities for commuters, and the refurbishment of all existing amenities located within the commercial building.

This building has been designed to be at the cutting edge of energy efficiency, becoming Queensland’s first 6-Star Green Star office building. It is 92 per cent occupied by power distributor Energy Queensland with a long-term lease, earning its nickname “Energex House.”

The precinct encompasses 17 hectares of riverfront land. The area is being transformed into Brisbane’s most prestigious urban community, and a residential, dining and retail hub. It is anticipated the precinct will be home to more than 33,000 additional residents by 2026. Energex House is the largest commercial building in the area.

The six upper levels of Energex House boast floor plates averaging 4,500 square metres, with excellent natural light due to internal atriums and a well-planned fitout. The asset also includes a gymnasium, leisure rooms and dining options.

This is a very exciting project for the team, and a great opportunity afforded to us by Cromwell Property Group.
