Rork Projects’ growth in Brisbane continues with the company’s Queensland team announced as the successful tenderer for an $8 million new build project in Caboolture, starting this month.
General Manager for Rork Projects Queensland, Matt Clayton said the project is a significant win for the company since it established itself in Brisbane four years ago.
“Our team’s experience crosses sectors, trades and build types and is backed up by Rork Projects’ 22 years of industry experience; a winning combination for this project,” he said.
“A challenge for any company is communicating what you know your team can do and differentiating yourself within a highly competitive market.
“We’re very fortunate to be working in an industry that has so far been able to continue operations with minimal disruption and we’re thrilled to have a major project like this that will keep our teams busy for the next 12 months.”
In the heart of Brisbane’s north, the site is centrally located close to public parking and Caboolture station and through the build will enhance its views of the Caboolture River.
The scope of the design and construct project includes:
- Construction of a two-storey office building including an open deck overlooking the back of the site across to Centenary Lakes
- A courtyard and new and existing pathways to provide access to the entrance of the office building, which consists of a lobby and lift
- Parking for 35 vehicles, including five (5) secure spaces for staff
- Bicycle parking and end of trip facilities.
The project is anticipated to take 12 months to complete.
Rork Projects proudly acknowledges that this project is on the lands of the Gubbi Gubbi people.
