For the last two years we have partnered with the Property Council of Australia to bring our ‘Reconciliation Series,’ to each of our four states. This year, Rork Projects is excited to announce that the Property Council of Australia has donated $3,960 to the Wa Initiative!
Thanks to almost 400 of you that attended our events, we have been able to raise much needed funds for Indigenous education programs across the four states. $10 from every ticket sold to our ‘Reconciliation Series’ was committed to the Wa Initiative. These funds will not only help support Nevaeh in her final years at Clayfield College through Yalari, but will also support other education initiatives in NSW, ACT, and Victoria.
We’re supporting other Indigenous foundations and not-for-profit organisations in their work in offering quality, secondary education scholarships at leading Australian boarding schools for Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities.
The initiative builds on Rork’s proud support of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and The Literacy For Life Foundation – an Aboriginal-led charity tackling low adult literacy in Australia’s Indigenous communities.
It was truly humbling to see so many businesses and co-workers coming out to support this cause, and we hope that you will continue to carve this path we are all walking towards reconciliation.
