2022 is flying by, with the Rork Team powering through major milestones on some of our biggest projects ever.
This is especially evident with the progress of our second commercial new build at the Lakes Centre in Caboolture. The project is particularly challenging due to the limited site access and its location within a fully operational commercial centre.
Last Wednesday, the team undertook the first suspended slab pour for the project, being a partial pour of the Level 1 900m2 floor plate.
After several weeks of program delays due to the severe weather across South-East Queensland we thank our Rork Projects Team and subcontractors for rising to the challenges in completing this milestone.
Since then, the Rork Team and their committed sub-contractors have stepped it up a gear. The Level 2 concrete pour is booked for this Thursday. Service rough in on the ground floor has also commenced.
This string of good weather has allowed the team to make up for lost time and really move this project forwards. With the project tracking well, we would like to make special mention to Chelsea Wallace, Richard Byatt and Sam Bazyar from the Rork team for their great leadership and comradery through the project.
We can’t wait to bring you more updates after the concrete pour next week 😊
