Rork Projects was engaged by Riverlee Pty LTD to transform an underutilised underground car park in Melbourne’s CBD into a new End of Trip facility.

The project required a full fit-out and construction with upgrades to the pre-existing car park to create a cohesive and functional space.  Works comprised a bike storage room, male and female EOTs, kitchenette and main staff breakout/kitchen space, and new joinery throughout. The joinery included a split timber batten system that seamlessly integrates with large scale illuminated statutory and wayfinding signage for patrons to easily navigate the facilities with no extra lighting installed.

A tight programme was adhered to with the tenancy being leased just 3 days after the expected Practical Completion. This became difficult when delays on materials such as fire doors, pinboards, polytec benchtops, workstations, and PAC units arose. Despite this, Rork Projects achieved CFI which was very rewarding for all of the teams involved.

As an Indigenous business, we proudly acknowledge that this project was completed on the traditional lands of the Boonwurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung, Wathaurung and Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation.
