Rork Projects’ relationship with Shayher Group has proudly continued with the award of Level 31, 300 George Street Spec Fit Out under a Design & Construct contract – our second project in this prominent Brisbane CBD building. Rork were presented with a cold shell, partial floor fit out, briefed by the client to deliver a design similar to our previous project on Level 6.
Rork Projects engaged an external architect to carry out the final design which comprised of a number of office rooms and a designated CEO office space. A large boardroom was also incorporated, along with additional collaborative workspaces and a fully functional kitchen for the end user. The fit out was completed with a large waiting area to greet visitors and a specialised printer and communications room; all finished with hanging planters and greenery to give the space a cool and calm feel.
The services coordination between the selected subcontractors and base build consultants was crucial to ensuring the space was finished off, with a high emphasis on HVAC supplied to all offices, meeting rooms and shared spaces. Audio visual and communication systems ran to the designated boardrooms so that the final occupants could host teleconferences and in-house meetings with ease.
