Rork Projects was engaged by Cromwell to design and construct a new fit out for collaboration and training spaces at 400 George Street, in Brisbane’s CBD.
Starting with a cold shell, the space was designed to include two board rooms, a multi-faith room and a 200m2 flexible area for casual seating and meetings.
Balconies in the CBD are few and far between, so the design took advantage of this asset to create a seamless indoor-outdoor shared meeting area.
The scope of works included the installation of all new internal walls, ceilings, and services, as well as incorporating feature wall panelling, custom joinery, stylish floor tiles, furniture, and greenery.
Throughout the project we paid special attention to the surrounding tenancies, which included enduring that we did not disturb a childcare centre that was situated directly above the fit-out area.
The delivered result exceeded expectations with the fit out perfectly matching the envisioned design.
As an Indigenous business, we proudly acknowledge that this project was completed on the traditional lands of the Yuggera, Turrbal, Noonucal, Goenpul, and Yugembah Nations.
