Rork Projects successfully completed a refurbishment project for Deka Australia in Melbourne’s CBD, involving a back-to-base refurbishment of two levels – Level 3 and Level 4. The partial floor of Level 3 covered an area of 1,197 sqm, which was shared with an existing tenant. Meanwhile, Level 4 covered a full area of 2,752 sqm.
The project scope included a full amenities upgrade and lift lobby upgrade for both levels. One of the main challenges of the project was managing the common areas with the occupied tenancy on Level 3, especially during shared lift lobby works. However, with strategic planning, Rork Projects was able to work around this and complete the project with minimal disruptions to the live tenancy.
The refurbishment project aimed to improve the overall working environment for the building occupants by upgrading the amenities and lift lobby to modern standards. The final outcome was an appealing space that created a comfortable and inviting environment for the building occupants.
Throughout the project, Rork Projects worked closely with the building owners and tenants to ensure that the project was delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruptions. The successful completion of the project is a testament to Rork Projects’ expertise in delivering high-quality refurbishment projects.
