Through the ACT Government Major Projects, PMA Panel, Rork Projects were appointed to construction manage the refurbishment of six areas at Amaroo School.
The scope of work included the following:
- Conversion of two existing classrooms into a teaching science laboratories. This included a new operable wall and structural modifications to the existing temporary building.
- Additional lab benches in to an existing science laboratory
- Conversion of the existing dance studio into a classroom
- Conversion of an existing classroom into a Student Wellbeing centre.
All of the work, including joinery, was delivered in January before the commencement of the school year. Additional works including the connection of natural gas and drainage was also added during the construction phase.
