Rork Projects to complete a brand-new fit out of their new store at Mooloolaba.
Rork Projects were presented with a cold shell to fit out the new store which included a new entrance and façade, retail area and counter, and back of house office area to store packages and a secure Post Office Box Lobby for their customers. All works were completed during normal working hours, and had to be delivered before a set go live date with Australia Post.
Rork also had to coordinate and manage along with Australia Post the merchandising of the store before the go live date, which involved placement of joinery items, stands and merchandise mainly through the FOH retail area. Whilst the construction of the new fit out took place, the Australia Post employees traded out of their old premises. Rork were also responsible in managing the relocation of the staff and other Australia Post items to the new shop which included loose furniture items, all locks and keys from the old post office boxes to their new bays and staff computers.
