Lump sum contract

The Australian National University (ANU) engaged Rork Projects to carry out the refurbishment of the level 2 courtyards in the ANU CBE Building #26C and H.W Arndt Buildings #25A on Acton campus.

The refurbishment consisted of demolition of the existing paved flooring and landscaping, new landscaping and irrigation systems, new lighting and outdoor heating. The space incorporated outdoor furniture, soft flooring, custom seating and custom timber pots, and an internal kitchen relocation with custom joinery seating and a new opening to the courtyard.

As the buildings were occupied during construction, Rork proposed an external access via scaffolding to both buildings to minimize traffic and disruption which was successfully carried out.

As an Indigenous business, we proudly acknowledge that this project was completed on the lands of the Ngunnuwal people.
