Rork Projects was engaged to extend the concrete hardstand at the Loscam Freight Facility in Richlands, QLD.
The aim of the project was to enable a more functional truck movement for the large quantity of trucks that deliver timber pallets to the facility. The works consisted of detailed demolition and excavation, extension to the concrete hardstand, new block work retaining walls, line marking, bollards and height safety system.
The project required a lot of forward planning as all works were completed on weekends due to the large amount of truck activity to the facility during the week. The project was a success with no incidents or near misses to report, and was delivered on time with no disruption to the facility.
