Rork Projects were thrilled to be awarded the ONE ONE ONE Eagle Street Lobby Refurbishment project by The GPT Group and their consultant project managers, Knight Frank.
Given the high profile of this Premium Grade commercial tower located within Brisbane’s Golden Triangle, Rork Projects knew that the works needed to be delivered to an exceptionally high standard that The GPT Group and their tenants would be proud of.
The works on both levels of the main lobby included high risk activities to heighten the architectural steel glazed balustrades, with existing glazing and steel removed, and new larger sections fabricated and installed. Custom joinery, stone planters, and seating fixtures were installed, with bespoke carpets and architecturally specified furniture, to create beautiful spaces for building users to meet and collaborate, while concealed wireless phone chargers and architecturally designed integrated lighting provide ambience and convenience.
Challenges encountered and overcome during the project include supply chain shortages, long lead time delivery issues and undertaking all works outside of business hours to allow building operations and activities to continue with minimal disruption.
