The project was to create a new break out Hub from the existing 15-year-old meeting rooms and offices, located at the Hawken Engineering Building. The design was open plan with exposed ceilings, spiral ducting, acoustic ceiling panels and polished timber to create the warm finish.
The self-contained mechanical plant located in this room, required the use of acoustic panels to dampen the noise of the system. Rork successfully delivered the project on time and ready for University Commencement, in spite of long lead times and tight time frame.
