Rork Projects were appointed to be the Head Contractor on the University of Queensland’s prestigious Duhig Library (now Central Library) on the St Lucia campus. Works were completed across four internal floors and externally, with a focus on restoring the original entrance as per the intentions of the heritage Brutalist architecture. This change enabled greater connectivity between the exterior and interior spaces.

The library is now a welcoming, engaging, accessible research and learning space with a focus on flexibility of movement.

As an Indigenous business, we proudly acknowledge that this project was completed on the traditional lands of the Yuggera, Turrbal, Noonucal, Goenpul, and Yugembah Nations.
