Rork Projects is proud to present the Westpac and St.George Bank corporate office in Canberra.

In these days of cookie cutter corporate design, its especially pleasing to deliver an attractive, functional and environmentally responsible office space that integrates unique natural environmental and Indigenous design significant to the local area.

The Brindabella Ranges LED feature in the breakout area represents the mountain range visible to the west of the city, an iconic and familiar aspect of the Canberra skyscape.

The Indigenous artwork throughout was created by Lynnice Church of the Ngunnawal, Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi Nations and includes a Bogong moth wing referenced on feature carpet and glass panels.

These features are culturally significant to local Aboriginal people and speak to the unique beauty of the Canberra region.

Completed in ten weeks, this high-end fit-out is built to achieve a rare 6-star Greenstar Rating and is located in the new landmark Civic Quarter in the heart of the city.

The project included formal client-side suite, reception and waiting rooms.  The formal office includes a large breakout area with collaboration space, flexible meeting rooms and full video conferencing facilities.

This project had an important focus on increased Indigenous business engagement and Rork Projects delivered 18% downward spend on Indigenous business.

As an Indigenous business, we proudly acknowledge that this project was completed on the lands of the Ngunnuwal people.
