Rork Projects is proud to have been selected to deliver the new showcase Robotics and Engineering Facility for the University of Canberra (UC). The UC has ambitious objectives aiming to be amongst Australia’s most innovative tertiary institutions. Their commitment to innovation will see the UC campus develop into a thriving ecosystem of research and development in biomedicine, biotechnology, sports technology, materials fabrication and IT solutions.
This project encompasses a new facility that will provide a combination of teaching and research spaces housing engineering equipment specialised to the Robotics course. The fit out is expected to have a design life of 20 years and is to be industrial, contemporary, inspiring, and innovative in its design. Research activities will form a vital part of the facility and the space will require workbenches for researchers, HDR students, Honour’s students and project students.
