Rork Projects appoints new General Manager

Rork Projects has today announced that Peter Kang has joined Rork Projects’ Senior Leadership Team as the company’s new General Manager for NSW.

As a well-known industry figure, Peter has held senior management positions for tier-one construction companies delivering large-scale projects across both the public and private sectors.

Peter’s most recent project experience portfolio includes the $70m White Bay Power Station Stage 1B and 2 heritage remedial refurbishment, the $43m Westmead Hospital Redevelopment Stage 2 refurbishment and the $24m QBE Parramatta fit out.

Rork Projects Managing Director Brian O’Rourke said that Peter brings a depth of experience driving high performance teams to deliver winning outcomes.

“His experience reflects a driven work ethic that is founded on a culture of collaboration – these are values and skills that stood out to me and that align with our vision for NSW,” Brian said.

“Supported by our NSW Construction Manager Malcolm Hoye and our talented team in Sydney I am incredibly excited about what the state is going to deliver.”

Peter Kang said that he was attracted to Rork Projects’ great name and reputation in the industry that has been established over its 25 years of business.
