Rork Projects joins 8th annual Charity Sailing Day

In early March, staff from our Melbourne Office joined some 400 other sailors on Port Phillip Bay as part of the 8th annual Charity Sailing Day organised by The Property Industry Foundation (Vic).

The event, on Friday 2nd March 2018, raised some $100,000 for the PIF House Program supporting homeless and at-risk young people in Victoria.

Our staff joined other organisations and corporates in supporting this event under the watchful gaze of event Patron John Bertrand AO and Olympic Silver Medallists Lisa Darmanin and Jason Waterhouse.

In a great day, a fleet of 38 yachts launched from the Royal Brighton Yacht Club sailing out across Port Phillip Bay in perfect conditions.

Rork Projects’ Melbourne GM, Steve Raymond said that Charity Sailing Day was a great opportunity to not only network with other stakeholders, but to support the great work of the Property Industry Foundation (Vic).

“We’re proud to be able to support opportunities to assist those working with our homeless and at-risk young people in Victoria.”
