Rork backs ACT Premier Rugby Competition

Rork Projects has proudly signed on as an Official Sponsor of the ACT’s Premier Rugby competition – the John I Dent Cup.

It is the second consecutive year that Rork Projects has officially backed local rugby in the ACT through sponsorship of the local competition.

And according to Rork Projects ACT General Manager, Scott Lamb, the partnership is about recognising how sport is a quintessential part of our culture and our communities.

“It’s about supporting local sport in the region which in turn help builds stronger, healthier, happier and safer communities.”

“Community sport plays such a vital role in the lives and wellbeing of so many Canberrans, and that’s why we are getting behind this local competition,” he added.

The John I Dent Cup – which kicked off last weekend – is the pinnacle of rugby competition in the ACT & Southern NSW region.

The sponsorship deal will also see Rork projects partner with Super Rugby’s Plus500 Brumbies for their Indigenous Round. The Brumbies will recognise the club’s rich cultural diversity by wearing their first Indigenous jersey against the Queensland Reds at Canberra Stadium on 1 August.
